Our values
Our values are written into the statutes adopted in general assembly: non-political standing, non-profit status, inclusion, citizenship and transparency.
A value written into the statutes
Filed with the administration together with our statutes, these values become rules our members can invoke, and whose observance they can require in general assembly. The five principles that follow are of that kind.
The five principles
Non-political standing
Article 1 states it: we are non-political. We serve no party and no partisan interest.
Non-profit status
We seek no profit. The resources we mobilise serve the carrying out of our activities.
Inclusion
Article 5 aims at inclusive development at grassroots level, carried out with the communities concerned.
Citizenship
Fostering citizenship and good conduct is among our statutory objectives. It applies to the young people we support as much as to our members.
Transparency
Our active members take part in decisions and in the accounts in general assembly. The documents we make public are gathered in the resources section.
Where to check them
Our statutes, the composition of our board and our activity reports make that possible to check.
