Become a member

Joining means taking part in our decisions as much as in our activities. Our statutes provide for five categories of member.

The five categories of member

Article 8 of our statutes distinguishes founding, active, supporter, ambassador and honorary members. Each of these categories describes a different form of commitment.

  1. Founding member

Anyone who took part in the founding general assembly and whose name appears in the minutes. This category has been closed since 4 January 2025.

  2. Active member

Any member willing to take full part in the activities of the association, to work towards its objectives, to attend meetings, to carry out their tasks and pay their fees regularly, to comply with the statutes and the internal rules, and to show good moral standing. An active member is eligible for office.

  3. Supporter member

Any individual or organisation which, without being a member, undertakes to give the association financial, material, moral or technical support.

  4. Honorary member

A category awarded by the general assembly, on the proposal of the executive board, to a person distinguished by the services they have rendered or by exceptional action in support of the values and objectives of the association.

  5. Ambassador

A member appointed by the president, on the proposal of the executive board, to represent and carry the ideals of the association nationally or internationally.

Only one of these categories is open by simply joining: that of active member.
