Our objectives
Our statutes set five objectives, from access to quality education through to fighting the trafficking and exploitation of children.
Where these objectives come from
These objectives are set out in Article 5 of our statutes, adopted article by article at our founding general assembly and then filed with the Togolese administration. They set the limits of what we can undertake.
We pursue all five together, because Article 4 asks us to take every dimension: we do not separate schooling from health, nor training from the prospect of work.
The five objectives
The wording is that of our statutes. Each page sets out the approach we have chosen.
Quality education
Promoting access to quality education: getting into school, staying there, and learning in decent conditions.
Vocational training
We train young people who have left school in a trade, and we support them through to employment.
Health and wellbeing
We act on health and living conditions, without which no learning holds.
Citizenship and entrepreneurship
We foster citizenship, good conduct and the spirit of enterprise, for inclusive development at grassroots level.
Fighting child trafficking
We work to prevent the trafficking and exploitation of children, and we protect those most at risk.
