Mobilising resources
Mobilising the human, financial and material resources needed to carry out our activities: the third of the ways we act in Article 7.
The three resources
Article 7 names three resources in the same breath. We seek all three.
-
Human resources
Skills our current means do not allow us to buy: engineering, training, management, communication, information systems. A skill given opens up projects our financial resources would not cover.
-
Financial resources
One-off donations, membership fees and corporate giving. Nothing is secured in advance: we gather the funds before we commit to an action, and we account for how they are used.
-
Material resources
A room lent to us, a batch of supplies, a vehicle for the length of a distribution. What is given in kind does not have to be bought: the funds gathered stay available for the field.
The three other ways
Article 7 recognises four of them, and we carry them together: we mobilise resources at the same time as we build, and a twinning brings us both.
Building
We build supervision and education facilities. We budget for upkeep and supervision from the start of the project, together with the structural work.
How we do thisRaising awareness
We organise caravans, conferences, forums, seminars, informal talks and symposiums. We go out to meet families before the situation takes hold.
How we do thisTwinning and partnerships
We twin with organisations working in the same areas. It is the framework through which we can carry out a project elsewhere on the continent.
How we do this
The forms of commitment
This is the way of acting that underpins Support us. Each of the forms of commitment presented there corresponds to one of these three resources.
Make a donation
One-off or regular, your donation directly funds field projects. A receipt is issued for each contribution.
DonateSponsor a child
Support a child's schooling over the long term, and follow their progress year after year.
SponsorBecome a member
Our statutes provide for four categories of member open today: active, supporter, ambassador and honorary.

In Togo, elsewhere on the continent or remotely, your skills have a place: field work, management, communication, training.

Funding this way of acting
We receive no automatic funding: every action rests on the resources we manage to mobilise.
