Infrastructure
Building support and education facilities: this is the first of the ways we act set out in Article 7 of our statutes.
Four items costed from the start
A support and education building involves four items. We cost them from the moment the construction is planned.
-
The land
Land suited to the intended use: it is what decides what the building will be able to hold.
-
The structural work
The construction itself.
-
The upkeep
What the building will cost once handed over.
-
The staffing
The people who will run the place once it opens.
The three other ways
Article 7 recognises four of them, and we carry them together on the same project: we budget a campaign before we launch it, and a twinning brings us resources as well as skills.
Raising awareness
We organise caravans, conferences, forums, seminars, informal talks and symposiums. We go out to meet families before the situation takes hold.
How we do thisMobilising resources
We mobilise human, financial and material resources. We seek skills and supplies as much as funds, which our current means do not allow us to buy.
How we do thisTwinning and partnerships
We twin with organisations working in the same areas. It is the framework through which we can carry out a project elsewhere on the continent.
How we do this
Our construction projects
We have completed construction projects. We will publish them shortly, one by one.
Each will appear with its location, its period and how far it has progressed.

Funding this way of acting
We receive no automatic funding: every action rests on the resources we manage to mobilise.
